The Ravens signed quarterback Joe Flacco to a six-year, $120.6 million contract before the 2013 season, although no one was ever all that confident that Flacco would actually play out all six years under the terms of the deal.
After three years of reasonable cap hits, Flacco’s contract is set to have a cap charge of $28.55 million for the 2016 season that would account for healthy chunk of the team’s cap space. That led people to expect a reworking of the deal from the moment it was signed and owner Steve Bisciotti said Wednesday that the team expects Flacco to be “very amenable” to a new contract once the 2015 season is over.
Bisciotti said he’d like to sign Flacco to a new six-year deal with cap hits that would run between $19 and 23 million over the life of the contract.
raven: snowstorm yesterday and it took me 4 hours to get home. It's only 8 miles from work to home. So may people abandoned their cars. Idiots.
