Roman Reigns comes out and says last week he was the winner of the Royal Rumble match, and that guarantees him a championship match at Wrestlemania 31 against Brock Lesnar. The Authority also made it clear last week they don’t really want him in that spot. Reigns says he has to beat Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane to now get his title match, but he doesn’t care who they put in front of him because he’ll take them out. Daniel Bryan walks out and says he gets it, and Reigns is bigger and stronger than him, but Bryan is always going to be the better wrestler.
The Authority cuts them both off and Stephanie says they are both probably hyped up and can’t wait for Fast Lane, because it really is a big deal. Triple H says he’s calling out Sting for Fast Lane, and he wants an answer by the end of the night, but he thinks Sting will prove he is a coward again. Stephanie brings up Roman Reigns attacking Big Show last week, and Stephanie says Reigns was angry because Show already beat him that night. Reigns says he did it because he could, then Stephanie brings up Bryan going too far in a casket match on Smackdown. Bryan says Triple H has done worse in a casket (Katie Vick reference), then Stephanie books Bryan and Reigns against Kane and Show right now.
Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns vs Big Show & Kane
Kane goes for a fallaway slam but Bryan floats over and sends him outside, then Bryan tackles him and Reigns gets the tag. Reigns hits him in the corner and applies an armbar, then Kane breaks it but Reigns hits a diving clothesline before Big Show tags in. Show shoves Reigns across the ring and slams him into the turnbuckles, then he calls for a chokeslam but Reigns counters with a DDT for two. Show comes right back with a headbutt, then Kane tags in and connects with a few strikes, but Reigns slams him on the mat and both tag out. Bryan kicks Kane onto the floor, then he dropkicks Show a few times before taking out his knees and repeatedly kicking him in the chest. Bryan kicks him in the head and Show rolls outside, so Bryan dives on them, but he gets caught and Show and Kane whip him into the apron. (Continued…)
We get back from a break to see Kane put Bryan in a bear hug, but Bryan punches him a few times and Kane clotheslines him and hits a side slam for two. Show tags in and hits Bryan a few times, then he goes for a slingshot splash but Bryan rolls away and reaches for a tag. Kane gets in and cuts him off, then he uppercuts Reigns on the apron before Bryan comes back with a YES Lock out of nowhere. Show pulls Bryan out of the ring and whips him into the time keeper area, and the ref rings the bell as Reigns runs over and attacks him.
Reigns hits Show several times and sends Kane into the ringpost, then Show hits Reigns with a chair and throws him back in the ring. Show gets in but Reigns connects with a Superman punch, then he beats the hell out of Show with the chair and knocks him out of the ring. Kane runs in and hits Reigns from behind, but Reigns blocks a chokeslam as Bryan runs in. Kane shoves Bryan into the corner and Bryan accidentally knees Reigns in the head, and Kane rolls outside as Reigns gets up and shoves Bryan down. Triple H says they look like a good team, so we’ll see how well they work together again when they face Show, Kane, Mercury, Noble and Seth Rollins tonight.
Winners (by disqualification) – Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns
BP: Pretty good opening promos, teased the dissention between the Fast Lane competitors, but the 5-on-2 match seems a bit much. Hopefully it doesn’t go too long and it’s just a closing angle tonight.
Seth Rollins vs Ryback
Rollins hits Ryback a few times and stomps him in a corner, then Ryback shoves him and goes for a clothesline, but Rollins dumps him outside. Mercury and Noble attack him on the floor and roll him back inside, then Rollins hits him a few more times and hits a neckbreaker for two. Ryback comes back with a spinebuster, then he knocks Mercury off the apron and goes for a powerbomb, but Mercury and Noble run in and attack for the intentional disqualification. Rollins gets up and kicks Ryback in the head, then he Curb Stomps him and taunts the crowd.
Winner (by disqualification) – Ryback
Paige vs Brie Bella (w/ Nikki Bella)
Paige immediately slams Brie down and hits her in the face, then she connects with some mounted punches before the ref pulls her away. Brie hits Paige in the head and gets a two count, then she connects with a rolling elbow off the ropes and knees Paige in the face. Winner – Paige
Rusev and Lana walk to the ring, and Lana says despite what they think, they are honored to face John Cena, and he should be honored to be in the ring with Rusev. She says Cena’s ‘Never Give Up’ attitude has led him to be one of WWE’s best champions, and they want to recognize him tonight. They play a highlight reel of Cena’s career, first his proud moments, then a bunch of all of his injuries and defeats. Rusev says Cena is not the same man he once was, and Rusev calls himself a hero, but Cena is a weak nothing. Rusev says he will break Cena’s body and crush his spirit at Fast Lane, then Cena cuts him off and says they sound like they already won.
Cena says they act like Rusev is unbeatable and he’s just broken down, but they are full of themselves and Cena is going to Fast Lane to shut him up. Cena says he’s had everything done to him, but he gets back up every time, and they are going to find out is Rusev is tough. He says Rusev is the super athlete he says he is, but he [Cena] is going to whip his ass, and he wants to see if he gets back up. Rusev gets pissed and says Cena can’t see him out of the black eye he is sporting, and he is going to crush Cena at Fast Lane. Cena says Rusev has jokes, but Lana has his balls, then Rusev rushes him and they slug it out on the stage. Rusev pokes Cena in his bad eye and slams him on the stage, then he stomps him in the back before a group of referees make him leave.
BP: Rusev is doing something right since he gets heat with every opponent, now including Cena. Good segment; would have been weak if Rusev walked away again, but they needed to throw punches here.
Dolph Ziggler vs Bray Wyatt
Bray hits Dolph several times before Dolph comes back with a dropkick, then Dolph knocks him outside as we go to a break. We get back to see Bray slam Dolph’s head on the mat, then Dolph breaks a headlock with a jawbreaker and connects with a DDT for two. Dolph goes for a Zig Zag but Bray counters with a Sister Abigail attempt, only to have Dolph counter that with a Famouser and superkick for two. Bray rolls outside and Dolph gives chase, but Bray catches him with a clothesline and hits Sister Abigail for the win.
Winner – Bray Wyatt
BP: Bray’s looked great lately, and even if it’s to get him ready for a match with Undertaker, it’s how he should’ve always looked. I’m really excited for this one and can’t wait to see the crowd go nuts if the lights go out and a gong sounds.
Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar walk out and Heyman says they are there to talk about some information, and he brings up Brian Williams from NBC. He says Williams stretched the truth but he’s not a huge liar, because Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns share that title. He says they will fight for a chance at Lesnar, but they are lying to everyone if either one of them thinks he has a chance. Heyman says he stood across from Reigns are pretty much saw him piss himself when he was in front of Lesnar, and Bryan doesn’t even have a chance. He says Bryan has pulled off more miracles than anyone, but he’s not the one to beat the ‘one’, and he will spell it out for them. Heyman says it doesn’t matter who actually wins at Fast Lane, because Brock Lesnar is the terrible fate that awaits an opponent, and he will take them down in a hailstorm of fire.

Winners – The New Day
Goldust finds Stardust backstage and says this is Dustin talking to him, and he is getting out of hand. He says ‘Cody’ and Stardust shoves him, and he says Cody is dead and runs away.
Triple H comes to the ring and talks about how he is the constant in WWE, and it was almost all taken away from him because of Sting. He says Sting was the face of WWE, and for some reason he waited 14 years to finally come to WWE, but he did it like a coward. HHH says he wants to face Sting at Fast Lane and tell him why he was right to stay away, and his patience has finally run out. He says he’s called Sting out for weeks and got nothing, but he wants an answer, and he wants it now. The lights go out and a crow is heard, then Sting is shown in various parts of the arena before disappearing. Highlights of HHH’s sitdown interview is shown, slightly altered, then a fake Sting surprises HHH from behind. HHH is scared and drops to the mat, then the Titantron flashes ‘I accept’ as the segment ends.
BP: That was very cool. It had flashes of Sting in the rafters ala WCW, but WWE also put their own unique spin on it. It was well done and the Fast Lane confrontation is definitely something to look forward to.

The ref checks on him and Cesaro shoves Jey off the ropes, and Kidd gets the roll up for the win.
Winners – Tyson Kidd & Cesaro
BP: I agree with the commentary team in that the finish was a smart move by Cesaro. Looking forward to a title match between the two, and how Nattie and Naomi continue to get involved.
Sin Cara vs Damien Mizdow (w/ The Miz)
Sandow tries to continue Miz’s mannerisms but Miz yells at him to just start the match, then Sandow hits Cara in the corner and follows with a suplex. Miz makes Sandow get him a bottle of water and open it, then Cara splashes him on the floor and rolls him back in. Cara connects with some kicks and a headscissors takedown, then he goes for a fireman’s carry but Sandow counters with a breaker combo. Sandow goes for a Figure Four but Miz yells at him to stop, and Cara uses the distraction to roll him up for the win.
BP: I loved the fans chanting “You’re from Cleveland” at Miz, and his response of “Better than Columbus”. I legit laughed. The match/distractions were also pretty clever. Looking forward to this tag team desmise as well. Miz plays a great heel.
Dean Ambrose vs Curtis Axel
Ambrose hits Axel in the corner a few times, then Axel hits a kneelift before kicking Ambrose in the face. Axel hits a dropkick into the ropes, but Ambrose rebounds and hits clothesline and Dirty Deeds for the win.
